Gold Canadian Maple Leaf

The Canadian Maple Leaf is the official bullion coin of Canada.

 

The Royal Canadian Mint began production of the gold coin in 1979; it is .999 fine between 1979 and 1981 and are .9999 fine from 1982 onwards.

 

It also is produced in fractional sizes and all sizes of the series trade with the spot market.
